Office Building Renovation
Mission, KS
Faced with a virtually un-rentable modern two-story office building built in 1968, the owner needed the structure modernized and made more aesthetically pleasing. The original style incorporated solid masonry exterior walls with narrow windows articulated with vertical fins. Our design eliminated the heavy and forbidding exterior masonry and vertical slot windows, replacing it with modern glass curtain walls, transforming the structure from a Class C building, to a Class A, vastly improving the marketability of the property. The interior was completely gutted, and new ADA compliant restrooms and an updated center stairway were incorporated. Piper-Wind developed all tenant finishes and construction drawings in this now fully tenanted building.
